Sidecar Mocktail

This elegant and smoky sidecar mocktail uses lapsang souchong tea, lemon, honey, and marmalade for a sophisticated alcohol-free take on the classic cocktail.

Sidecar Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 3 oz strong-brewed lapsang souchong tea (chilled)
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange marmalade
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup (or to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon twist (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine chilled lapsang tea, lemon juice, marmalade, and honey syrup.
  2. Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Strain into a coupe glass or small cocktail glass.
  4. Add a sugar rim to the glass (optional)
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Tips

  • Adjust honey syrup to balance sweetness and tartness to your preference.
  • Use a fine mesh strainer to catch any bits of marmalade.
  • Chill the glass beforehand for the best presentation.
