Negroni Mocktail

This sophisticated Negroni-inspired mocktail features grape juice and a house-made spiced syrup for a rich, complex flavor that mirrors the classic cocktail without the alcohol.

Negroni Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz red grape juice
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz spiced syrup (made with grapefruit peel, coriander seeds, cardamom pods, and sugar)
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange twist (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. To make the spiced syrup: simmer equal parts water and sugar with grapefruit peel, coriander seeds, and cardamom pods for 5-10 minutes, then strain and cool.
  2. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
  3. Add grape juice, grapefruit juice, and spiced syrup.
  4. Stir well to chill the mixture.
  5. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with an orange twist.

Tips

  • Adjust the syrup ratio to taste if you prefer a sweeter or more bitter profile.
  • Use freshly squeezed grapefruit juice for brighter flavor.
  • Let the spiced syrup steep longer for a more intense flavor.
