This sophisticated Negroni-inspired mocktail features grape juice and a house-made spiced syrup for a rich, complex flavor that mirrors the classic cocktail without the alcohol.
Negroni Mocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz red grape juice
- 1 oz grapefruit juice
- 1 oz spiced syrup (made with grapefruit peel, coriander seeds, cardamom pods, and sugar)
- Ice cubes
- Orange twist (for garnish)
Instructions
- To make the spiced syrup: simmer equal parts water and sugar with grapefruit peel, coriander seeds, and cardamom pods for 5-10 minutes, then strain and cool.
- Fill a mixing glass with ice.
- Add grape juice, grapefruit juice, and spiced syrup.
- Stir well to chill the mixture.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
